From a girl with a sketchbook to a graduate with a voice.

Carlynn Andrews is an Atlanta based, self-taught artist who graduated from Florida A&M University. Her interest in art started when she was about four years old — drawing in school and doodling during her spare time. What began as assignments soon turned into a personal hobby, and her sketchbook was never far behind, even during summer camps.

Her ideas came from the things she loved and the world around her: fashion, cartoon characters, video games, and nature. She created sketches from imagination or reference using colored pencils and markers, developing the foundation of the style that defines her work today.

That passion led to the creation of “Carlynn the Artist,” a mission-driven brand focused on mental health awareness, self-love, and positive representation for minorities. She produces meaningful artwork as a service and as on-the-go products — from notebooks and backpacks to prints and apparel — designed for daily encouragement and inspiration. She also offers custom art commissions that transform personal stories into one-of-a-kind works of art.

Beyond the studio, Carlynn brings a strong background in creative marketing, branding, and digital strategy. She has interned in Marketing with The Estée Lauder Companies and National Sales Network, and earned recognition and business certifications with the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USABE).
